Hi, my name is Glenda, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. In my journey as a therapist, I have realized how important it is to enjoy what you do. I love working with children and their families in a collaborative process to help them be empowered, grow, and thrive. Some of my specialties include play therapy, Motivational Interviewing, PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy), and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
As we work together, you will realize that all your difficult decisions, life changes, fears, and struggles can be explored in a safe and compassionate manner. My job is to support you and your family in your journey using evidence-based practices to promote self-awareness, positive lifestyle choices, and to strengthen your relationship with your loved ones. When you step outside of your comfort zone, your confidence grows. I am here to help you become the person you want to be.
A bit about me: When I am not in session, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors climbing, hiking, or kayaking. I was born in Cuba and grew up by the ocean — that is my happy place. I also love traveling and meeting new people and cultures. Spending time with others is one of my favorite activities.
