Life is hard and I truly believe we’re all doing the best we can. Sometimes we get stuck in a cycle that we don’t quite know how to get out of. I believe that together we can discover a solution that will allow you to live a more fulfilling life. As people become more in touch with their thoughts and feelings they often make decisions that make them feel more in control, less stressed and more satisfied with life.
I have over 10 years of experience working in mental health and enjoy working with adults to address interpersonal struggles, PTSD/trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and adjustment disorders. Types of approaches I use and have been trained in include; EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
I am straightforward but provide a caring and judgement free environment so clients feel safe while they are on their path to heal. It’s important for me that client’s know they are in control of their process and I will be beside them through their journey and support them as they grow.
A bit about me: I love spending time with my family outside, at the park or just watching tv at home. I enjoy cycling and playing video games. I love to travel and it doesn’t matter where. I consider myself a lifelong learner so I’m always exploring and learning about new ways to help the people I’m working with.
