LPCA serving at 7400 New La Grange Rd. location
Hi, I’m Mary Alyce, a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate.
I strive to create a supportive space where you can feel safe and understood as you explore your experiences. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health concerns such as anxiety and mood disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, low self-esteem, trauma, and stress during life transitions.
My approach is primarily person-centered and grounded in the belief that healing happens within a warm, collaborative, and trusting relationship. Depending on your goals, I integrate approaches such as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and expressive techniques. I tailor treatment to your unique needs and experiences to support you in each step of the therapeutic process.
I aim to meet you where you are as you explore challenges and reconnect with your strengths so that you can move forward with a better understanding of yourself. Together, we will focus on developing practical coping skills and making changes that feel authentic and sustainable. Growth is a lifelong process that takes strength, courage, and self-compassion—and I would feel honored to walk alongside you on that journey.
A bit about me: My favorite thing in the world is spending quality time with loved ones, including my dog Ollie. I also absolutely love listening to live music or finding a great new restaurant! Other than that, in my free time, I am often crafting, getting lost in a good TV series, or working through word puzzles.
