Who we help
Children
Life’s Journey Counseling provides therapy for children ages 3 years old and up who are struggling with ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, or Divorced Parents. We serve Domestic Violence Survivors and any child who is needing support. We use a variety of modalities to reach children of any age to manage their struggles and help them heal. Modalities include but are not limited to: Art Therapy, Music, Movement, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Sensory Tools.
Adolescents
It can be difficult to understand the world of a teenager. Life’s Journey Counseling specializes in working with teens who are struggling with Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Low Self-Esteem, Trauma, Grief and Loss, Relationships, and Adulting. Modalities that we use include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Art Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy.
Adults
Everyone’s journey is unique. We help all people on their journey to healing so they can move forward in life. We work with adults who struggle with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, OCD, Trauma, PTSD, Grief and Loss, Anger Management, and Relationships. We specialize in a variety of treatment tools including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-Based Therapy.
